About Us
THE Oakland Volleyball Club (formerly Starlings Oakland)
Our volleyball program has been around for over 20 years, and the only change for 2024 is our name. We have the same commitment to providing volleyball programming to inner-city girls who would otherwise not have the opportunity to participate in club volleyball at the Junior Olympic level.
We provide an affordable volleyball program and we primarily serve youth attending school in Oakland, with a priority for Oakland Unified School District. Our season runs from December to May, competing in the Northern California Volleyball Association (NCVA) of USA Volleyball (USAV).
Our Program
THE Oakland Volleyball Club is made up of dedicated professionals and volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in our volleyball community. Most club volleyball teams that provide similar services for the full six-month club season, have fees that range from $4,000 to $8,000. Our Club fees are significantly less and we exclude no girl due to financial hardship.

We are offering skills & drills clinics for players to come out and demonstrate their abilities and show us their commitment to learn about THE Oakland Volleyball Club. and the opportunity to play club volleyball at the Junior Olympic level.
